![]() We used them with Electrobraid and used wood brace posts for corners and gates. I will try to take some pictures of our fencing (so far - in progress) with the posts. I think that in person they look better than the pictures on the web site. The posts are sturdy, attractive, and so convenient. The posts did not get scratched or discolored by being pounded in either. We did need a larger (wider diameter) t-post driver than we used for metal t-posts in the past, but luckily my neighbor had two of them he let us borrow. We followed the directions about drilling pilot holes first, and they went right in easily. What a great decision - I absolutely love them! My experience ordering and having them delivered was quite pleasant. But I would not recommend for permanent use.UPDATE: I decided to take a chance and just order the timeless t-posts. But after a year in service, they are kinda loosening up. I understand the situation though already have hundreds of T post and don't want to pull them up and waist them. Also have the timeless fence option which I have heard people like. Metal T post and insulators suck long term with electric and are really no cheaper wood or fiber glass and no easier then fiber glass. ![]() Had a few of the pins break but not many. Also several thousand feet of stalk field fence every winter. I've had them in place in several thousand feet of pasture fence for 4 years now with no problems. Do the pins ever come out when a deer or something hits the fence? How long have you been using them? I just looked at them the other day and thought they looked like a good idea. I like these, very strong and fit most posts. I doesn’t take me long to run the fences periodically There’s no such thing as good wood posts “here” so I put up with insulators on t posts. If you eliminate the insulators and steel posts altogether you'll find you magically have more hours in the day for doing other things, or nothing at all. ![]() They're still handy for temporary poly fence. Then some faded, some cracked, and some became loose. I really liked them when I first got them. They work, but I wouldn't want them on anything that's permanent. I use them for corners on temporary poly wire paddocks. Posted 11:12 (#10132535 - in reply to #10132512) Subject: RE: Lock Jawz t-360 electric fence insulatorsĪgreed. Yep, recommend timeless fence or fiber or hedge post imo I had high hopes for them, but do not recommend. I will be replacing all insulator couple miles or is there a better insulator. I will be using them on a high tensile electric fence i always seem to have insulators shorting out. I read that in rain they short out to the steel t-post. Lock Jawz t-360 electric fence insulators
